Organization- Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur Metropolis
Summary
You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. Assists in providing leadership in all selling activities within the hotel, to achieve pre-determined revenue targets while maintaining appropriate sales programmes and handling multi-faceted projects and to maximise events sales target as well. To assist in the implementation of the hotel's Sales Strategy (goals, tactics and actions) to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue of events department.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration.
- A minimum of 3-5 years in event planning or a similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting, with experience in leadership or supervisory roles.
- Proven experience working with clients and vendors to create seamless, high-quality events that exceed expectations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, ability to inspire and motivate sales teams to meet and exceed goals.
