About The Role
To underwrite the complex medical servicing request according to delegated underwriting and financial authority granted. Maintain underwriting qualities, and support to relevant distribution channels.
Achieve POS TAT and Benchmark.
Suspense management and handle assign service request efficiently.
Roles And Responsibilities
Practice accurate underwriting for medical and financial details, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines, systems, and procedures.
Strive to deliver quality service and meet customers (including agents) satisfaction by delivering and responding to their needs timely, fairly, accurately and expertly.
To respond and follow-up on customer requests, provide technical consultation/advice to meet customer needs and provide effective solution to customer's enquiries and complaints.
To ensure smooth daily operations and transactions are completed within Turn-Around-Time and service level is efficiently managed. Takes timely corrective action to achieve objectives and close gaps.
Customer service skill (e.g. handling of complaints, taking care of difficult customers and analyzing policy related problems).
Participate in project management, e.g reviewing policy servicing underwriting guidelines, review and streamline work processes, recommend process improvement and procedure where applicable and any other task assigned by Team Supervisor/Manager.
Involved in Compliance screening related tasks and ensure continuous compliance of regulations. Provide top priority service to complaint cases.
Other job functions and ad-hoc task assigned by supervisor/manager.
Monitoring and clearing of the suspense account.
Minimum Job Requirements
Preferably with at least 3-5 years working experience in Life Insurance Industry in medical and financial underwriting, legal aspect of life insurance.
Sound knowledge of medical conditions, product knowledge and regulations.
Competent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak other languages will be an added advantage.
Computer centric with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Great initiative, drive and ability to work well independently and effectively in a team.
Able to build good relationship and trust at all levels.
Strong decision making, interpersonal and analytical abilities.
Able to share any ideas, suggestion or guidelines clearly with the team.
Right demeanor & ability to produce high quality work under pressure.
