Responsibilities
Prospecting and lead generation
- To identify and target potential merchants through market research, referrals, cold calling and networking
Product knowledge
- Conduct compelling sales presentations to showcase the benefits of payment acquiring solution
Relationship building
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at potential and existing merchants
Proposal development
- Address client inquiries and objections effectively
- Prepare proposals outlining the features, benefits and pricing for merchants
Contract negotiation
- Negotiate terms and conditions with merchants, ensure mutual beneficial to both merchant and the Bank
Pipeline management
- Maintain and followup with any potential pipeline from various sources
Market Intelligence
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions

- Willing to work on weekends and/or after hours
- Proficiency on Microsoft Excel. Ability to write SQL, JAVA, Python and R would be a plus.

Education / Knowledge
- Diploma/Degree in any fields
- Good business knowledge, understanding of a variety of business practices and familiarity with the banking industry, especially merchant acquiring
- Basic understanding of the evolving digital world on both the demand side (how people / organisations are using technology) and the supply side (emerging technologies).
- Familiar with a variety of innovative project concepts, practices and procedures.
