Partner with business stakeholders (eg: BB, SME, GB, overseas units) to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable data analysis projects
Manage the end to end processes in maintaining TB MIS databases from extraction to output
Being a liaison between business and various teams (e.g. IT, Data Governance, Finance, other business MIS, etc) in relation to MIS matters
Constantly liaise with IT, REDW, Hadoop team in enriching the databases and automating the processes
Design and execute complex data analysis using advance techniques and methodologies (eg: machine learning, regression analysis)
Develop and improvise structured templates for data consolidation
Identify opportunities in improvising data management processes in data quality, process efficiency and automation.
Participating in TB initiatives and enhancements which required assistance and advises on data related matters (eg. dealing with REDW team on data input, data analytics)
Create compelling data visualisations and reports generated from various sources (M2E, M2UBiz, REDW, etc) for TB management and committees (GDC, DTF, GALCO, SPs)
Requirements:
Masters/ Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Computer Science / Mathematics / Statistic / Data Science or in a relevant discipline
Excellent in computer skills (Microsoft Office Excel, Access, Power Query/ Power Pivot; BI Tools Power BI)
Experience in data management tools (OBIEE, Teradata) and query language (SQL, HiveQL)
Experience in advance scripting language (eg. Python, VBA, R)
Proficient in planning, analytical and communication skills
Thinker with good understanding of the business and industry
Maintaining and balancing various requests from stakeholders and assess the objectivity of the requests for prioritization
Knowledge of business analytics understanding data from various source systems for a deeper comprehension of a data structure
