Job Description

Job Responsibility

Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing lessons in accordance with the schools curriculum.
Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts introduced by the teacher.
Help prepare educational materials and classroom activities.
Monitor students during class, recess, lunch, and other school activities to ensure safety and adherence to school policies.
Assist with administrative tasks such as grading assignments, maintaining attendance records, and organising classroom resources.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.

Job Requirements

Minimum of a SPM/STPM/High School Diploma; an Associates or Bachelors degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous.
Proficiency in English, BM and Mandarin; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational software (training will be provided).
Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organised.
