Our client is a global pharmaceutical company with diverse skills, resources and capabilities with 14 manufacturing facilities across US, India, Argentina and Czech Republic and 4 State- of the- Art R & D Centres is looking for an Assistant Supply Chain Manager based in Kerinchi, KL.
This position's primary responsibility is to manage local distribution, supply chain, inventory management, distributors management and reports analysis. Close cooperation with manufacturing plants, supply chain teams and local distribution. Analyse and take any necessary steps to improve overall productivity of supply chain.
Job Description:
Supply Chain Operations and Demand Planning-
- Ensuring monthly/ Quarterly net sales FCST of Malaysia.
Co-ordinate with business to submit the Secondary sales FCST on time to drive Net sales and Production.- To monitor and maintain country closing inventory as per budgeted inventory NOM.
AIR/SEA ratio ensure to align with budget value. Exception should be highlighted to country manager.
- MOQ/Batch size issue SKUs rationalization and resolution with co-ordination of Finance and Business team.
All commercial contracts and all compliance check for existing distributor or new distributors.- Manage imports, coordination with finance to invoice to distributor(s), ensure distributor is invoicing timely to clinics, pharmacies and hospital.
Manage local distribution with local partners.
- Ensure good product availability at distributor all WH all the time.
Ensure billing and collection as per MIS Forecast.- Prepare and distribute all reports and analysis eg. MRF, shelf-life analysis, inventory reports etc.
Act as a bridge and single point of contact between Glenmark and DKSH for any commercial topics, supplies expiries, POs, returns, collections etc (related to Primary Sales).
- Close cooperation with sales team to update them on their ongoing topics like distribution, product availability, credit limit.
Prepare LOU/guarantee letters (if required, after getting appropriate approvals).- Liaise with agents towards identification of upcoming national/ regional tenders & prepare all required documentations.
Submit timely bids for LPOs along with documentations.
- Keep a track and ensure timely supplies for all government purchase.
Handling distribution partner (DKSH) & distribution channel (supplies from distributor to market):- Inventory planning as per company policy.
Stock availability for secondary sales in DKSH (PJ, Sabah & Sarawak).
Requirements:
- Degree in Science or Marketing preferably with Master Qualifications.
At least 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.- Experience in Supply chain, commercial function, logistics, distribution.
Proven track record and experience in pharmaceutical sales.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to analyse sales, pricing, market and customer data.
Thorough understanding of accounting and finance areas would be an advantage.- Ability to provide business analysis and insights from difference perspectives.
Proficient PC skills and analysis tools especially Excel and PowerPoint.
