Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Special Needs Teacher at Headstart Academy. The Assistant Special Needs Teacher will be responsible for providing support to the Special Needs Teacher in implementing individual education plans, assisting with classroom management, facilitating communication with students and their families, and supporting student engagement and participation in activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Knowledge of special education principles and practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Experience in teaching or working with middle school students
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
