Responsibilities:- Oversee the procurement process, including requisition management, purchase order creation, and supplier coordination
Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality ingredients and materials- Manage the identification, evaluation, and selection of suppliers for ingredients, packaging, and other products
Liaise, and build good rapport with suppliers, managing performance and addressing any issues related to quality or delivery
- Review, finalize, and oversee contract documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Conduct market research and cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value enhancement- Maintain comprehensive records of procurement transactions, supplier information, and contract details
Prepare and present detailed reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings to senior management
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with food safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
Performs other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior/ management
Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain Management or any related fields- Minimum of 4 years of experience in any related fields
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and procurement best practices- Excellent presentation, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and time-management skills
A valuable team player and able to work independently
- Computer literate with good command of both written and spoken English and Malay
Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines- Possess own transport and willing to travel
