Job Description Summary
Responsible for process capability, cost reduction and continuous improvement, project implementation within their designated manufacturing unit. Provides specific engineering work related to field of expertise with broad overlap between engineering disciplines expected. Support capacity planning and growth, as well as define budgeted rates and process documentation. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read and write and converse in English. Willing and able to uphold BD Values
Job Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support and participate in BD Excellence
- To assist in the process or product performance data collection and conduct the analysis as per superior request.
- Support the manufacturing unit change control workflow including validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality events and deviations.
- Assist implementation of process and product transfer
7 To support the process safety improvement includes Health and Safety risk analysis, waste reduction activities in the manufacturing.
- Monitor and evaluate defects at source and escalate to Shift Lead if required
- Identify opportunities to support cost/quality improvements
- Support CAPA process and own CAPA if needed
- To monitor dip tanks process parameters and to do chemical adjustment accordingly
- To plan and execute the latex and process chemicals tank change and daily tanks chemistry or properties maintenance.
- Other assignments as instructed by immediate Superior
