Assistant Manager - Sustainability

Job Descriptions:

• Coordinate the facilitation of the annual Sustainability Reporting for HLB and HLISB with external consultants, external auditors and internal data owners to meet the reporting and disclosure requirements under BNM Climate Change & Principle-based Taxonomy (CCPT), Task Force for Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD), Bursa Sustainability Reporting Requirements, GRI Reporting Standards and SASB standards.

• Align the reporting of Ban-wide sustainability initiatives to international and local rating assessments (RAM, FTSE4Good, DJSI, WWF SUSBA & MSCI) requirements.

• Coordinate the Sustainability Committee meetings to report and table discussions from the Sustainability Working Committee groups for decision making.

• Facilitation of Sustainability Initiatives Companywide with sustainability performance tracking and report performances to relevant departments

• Lead the content curation and implementation of Sustainability Month for internal and external stakeholders twice a year to drive general awareness and build the Bank's ESG brand health and credibility.

• Lead the coordination and execution of the HLB Expert Engagement Session once a year for senior management and SWC groups to ensure consistent engagement with Sustainability & ESG subject matter experts.

Key Requirements:

• Malaysian citizen

• 3 years and above work experience in sustainability reporting, consulting, research, business, communications and / or community-related fields

• Must have relevant work experience in report writing and proficient in written English

• Experience in driving sustainability-related projects and the sustainability agenda is preferred

• GRI certification is preferred
