Job Purpose
- Responsible for Financial Modelling (FM) in acquisition and/or divestment of companies with existing RE assets/ projects
- Responsible in preparing, reviewing and maintaining the Financial Model for all business segments.
- Review individual FM for all business proposals with the segment head.
- Assess FMs and manage FM streamlining for all IC papers.
- Manage the preparation of the AOP.
- Manage initiatives related to Corporate Strategy.
- To report to Head of Sustainability and Corporate Strategy (dotted line) in development and management of the Group's Annual Operating Plan and Balanced Scorecard (Corporate KPI).
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Strategy
- Support in leading initiatives related to Corporate Strategy.
- To report to Head of Sustainability and Corporate Strategy on Annual planning of the Group's Business Plan and Balanced Scorecard (Corporate KPI).
- Monitoring of company's overall performance.
- Develop Group's Business Plan on annual basis including:
- a. Coordinate with management and business units to collate inputs for preparation of Company's annual business plan
- b. Coordinate with Finance function on projections and budgets to support Annual Business Plan
- Work closely with Management to develop Corporate Balanced Scorecard (BSC) and KPI monitoring, including:
- a. communication and tracking of teams / business units.
- b. identify gaps to achieving targets.
- c. work with business units to solve problems/issues in achieving targets.
- d. Business Development Role
- Lead business development team in strategic Acquisition of existing RE assets/ projects.
- Responsible for ensuring the Financial Model for all business segments are maintained and reviewed.
- Review individual FM for all business proposals with the segment head.
- Assess FMs and manage FM streamlining for all IC papers.
- Represent company in Commercial Negotiations on acquisitions and/or divestment.
- Performing and undertaking any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by superior/management from time to time.
Key Requirement
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or any other relavant fields
- Having one of the Professional qualifications (eg: ACCA, CFA and etc.) would be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in investment or corporate strategy role involving valuation and acquisition.
- Drive acquisitions of renewable energy assets and business in tandem with organic growth.
- Support in valuations and investment analysis.
- Manage corporate strategy and formulate annual business plan.
