Assistant Manager, Insurance Services Develop and manage relationships with external support services and stakeholders such as industry partners, insurance brokers and insurance claims representatives to ensure outcomes are achieved
- Manage and take charge of organization's annual insurance program. Advise customer and stakeholders on policy coverage.
Assist to monitor property and liability renewal process to ensure the program's renewal is cost effective with proper policy coverage.- Make recommendations for ratings and clause wordings according to suitability and needs.
Take charge and manage new potential business from external sources such as from online platform, emails and telephone calls with the aim to conclude the deal.
- Manage and ensure insurance arrangements are prompt and up-to-date, premiums agreed with insurers and premiums billed to insured as appropriate and timely.
Review and negotiate contractual insurance obligations placed on the organization. Instruct insurers and brokers to arrange and place appropriate insurance programs to protect the organisation.- Monitor and report on the captive insurance arrangements by external insurance Brokers.
Attend to queries and complaints from customers and stakeholders regarding insurance matters, claims, cover requirements, declarations, notifications and cost of insurance. Establish and maintain appropriate communication and engagement with customer and stakeholder and provide appropriate solutions.
- Financial Monthly reporting
Manages projects and program execution timelines based on ongoing assignments and any other relevant duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.- Good understanding of modern technologies used in web portals, mobile applications and automation
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Management or equivalent- Candidates who have at least 5 to 10 years experience in the related field namely, insurance broking or reinsurance will have an added advantage
Candidate must be proficient at Microsoft Office in particular Microsoft Power Point
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Independent and disciplined with ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision- Typically reports to a senior manager or head of a unit/departmenth
