The Global Markets Middle Office role is to provide support and independent control over the activities of the Trading and Sales Desk. Some key activities include: Managing day to day processing such as static data and market data maintenance which includes daily End of Day process, structured trades validation, collateral management and active involvement in Global Markets projects and new business initiatives. This role will be reporting to the Head of Finance (Global Markets Middle Office).
Job Responsibilities
- Perform trade validation for fixed income, rates, credit derivatives and structured product trades captured in Murex by Traders and Sales.
- Perform Collateral management activities for all CSA and GMRA agreements
- Daily rates upload into Murex.
- Static data maintenance, eg. counterparties, instruments, currency setup in Murex
- Murex system configuration support for Malaysia, Islamic, Singapore and Hong Kong branches.
- Daily counter rates and EOD rates upload into Murex.
- Static data maintenance, eg. counterparties, instruments, currency, accounting rules set up in Murex.
- Active involvement in testing, roll out and implementation of projects and initiatives involving Middle Office.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Banking
- Minimum 4-10 years working experience in Finance / Treasury / Global Markets related working experience.
- Analytical and good problem solving skills.
- Conversant on Global Markets Business and Products (ISDA, CSA, Client Valuations and Collateral management) would be added advantage
- Advance knowledge in MS Excel/Access is favorable.
