Job Summary:
Good opportunity for someone seasoned in Corporate Action, Middle Office, Derivatives, Back-office, Asset Servicing, or Fund Accounting. This role will be reporting to the Manager and will be responsible for the accuracy and delivery of the Financial Statements and Regulatory Submissions, as well as ensuring that all procedures are followed by the Fund Accountants. Training is provided!
What Do You Need to Succeed
Must-have:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience with extensive knowledge in Corporate Action, Middle Office, Derivatives, Back-office, Asset Servicing, or Fund Accounting.
- Experienced SMEs in the current role, having been an Assistant Manager or Senior Analyst in relevant Securities Operations/Financial Services.
- Strong communication skills in English (Written/Oral) proficiency.
- Proven experience in funds accounting/pricing/client reporting within Financial markets is an advantage.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of fund products, fund accounting, systems, and regulations.
- Knowledge in Excel VBA, SQL will be an added advantage.
What Will You Do
- Ensure accurate and timely fund pricing, reconciliation, and process control while contributing to projects and fostering team development. Maintain high standards of communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement to meet organizational goals.
- Perform cash, stocks, and holdings reconciliation.
- Produce accurate fund prices, meeting deadlines within service level agreements.
- Follow internal procedures for NAV calculation and controls.
- Implement and evolve effective process controls.
- Contribute to projects, which may account for 30% of the role.
- Meet internal and external cut-offs with optimized efficiency and high-quality deliverables.
- Maintain efficient communication with managers, coordinators, and team members.
- Resolve or escalate inter-departmental and cross-functional queries promptly.
- Collaborate across jurisdictions, functions, and cultures as needed for daily operations.
- Work closely with management to achieve department and organizational goals.
