Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Group Finance, Affin Bank in the role of ERP Finance and Cost Analyst. This position plays a critical role in optimizing operational expenditures (OPEX) through insightful analytics and supporting our ERP finance system to ensure seamless operations and issue resolution.
Responsibilities
Cost Analytics and Management:
- Analyze operational expenses (OPEX) to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track OPEX performance and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on cost management strategies and outcomes.
Center of Excellence ERP Finance
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the ERP finance system, understanding its functionalities and configurations.
- Support day-to-day operations of the ERP system, including issue resolution, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and testing to ensure optimal performance and usability.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards within the ERP system as part of a center of excellence (CoE) approach.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, cost management, and/or ERP system administration, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong proficiency in analytical tools and techniques, with the ability to extract insights from complex datasets.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
