Job Summary:
Collaborate closely with business users to understand requirements, design and develop a data model, dashboard, reports that best fits the users needs.
Develop data modeling & visualization using tools such as Power BI and Qlik Sense.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for all designed solutions.
Maintain existing data solutions, reports & dashboards, and identify and act upon opportunities to drive efficiencies and improve customer experience.
Prepare management reporting to regional office and any reports required from local regulator.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform data extraction, reporting and analysis.
Ensure discipline in documentation of assumptions, observations, and findings.
Exercise sound judgment while analyzing and interpreting data to ensure a high level of data integrity, accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
Work with IT department to develop and perform user acceptance testing on data marts to support on reporting and analytics requirements.
Develop, automate, and execute cross-functional BI dashboard / management reports.
Follow up on the risk incident progress to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ad-hoc assignments as requested by Head of Department.
Job Specifications:
Qualifications
Possess a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, IT, Applied Statistics, Data Analytics, or any related discipline.
Experience
Minimally 2-3 years of working experience in data analysis role or management reporting.
Strong application knowledge with data query / manipulation tools (e.g. SAS, SQL, Alteryx), data analytics tools (e.g. R, Python, Excel) and BI applications (e.g. Qlik Sense, Power BI) will have an added advantage.
Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Good writing and communication skills in English.
