JOB SUMMARY:- A Drafter creates technical drawings and plans used in construction, manufacturing, and engineering.
They work with architects, engineers, and other professionals to translate design concepts into detailed, precise drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Develop detailed drawings based on engineering designs, blueprints, and specifications.- Use CAD software to produce technical drawings and plans.
Modify existing drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers.
Review and ensure the accuracy of drawings.- Prepare layouts and detail drawings for various projects, including buildings, machinery, and infrastructure.
Maintain drawing files and project documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and project documentation.
Follow industry standards and company procedures.- Stay updated on developments in CAD technology and drafting techniques
