Job Description:- Overseeing the daily IT operation in Malaysia for the brand
Understanding the business needs of the brand and managing IT demand to balance Business and IT objectives.- Establishing stable and effective partnerships with businesses, able to transfer business requests and needs into IT solutions with assistance from regional IT team.
Providing IT support service to all stores, users in head offices, investigating all assigned incidents to root cause so that fixes can be developed as appropriate.
- Managing the escalation to third-line support teams (in-house or third party) where appropriate and maintaining management of escalated incidents to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution.
Drafting and maintaining procedures and documentation.- Co-ordinating the implementation of fixes or small-scale enhancements to the applications whether through directly undertaking the configurations required, or through management of third-party resources to undertake the required application development.
Support of networks and hardware by liaising with regional IT team in Singapore and also third-party vendors.
- Ensure all new stores opening/relocation/closure are correctly planned and managed.
Following existing processes and updating wherever necessary to provide on-time delivery and handover to Retail of all IT-related systems and tasks.- Occasionally travel is required.
Diploma or above in Computer Science/Information System or related disciplines.- Certified in CCNA, ITIL, and PMP would be desirable.
At least 5 years IT related experience in a sizable company, preferably from Retail.
- Demonstrated experience on building a stable and strong relationship with business functions
Familiar with common office software like O- Familiar with office hardware, printer, IP phone, video conference system.
Knowledge and experience in office network, router, switch, firewall, VLAN. CCNA is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience in Meraki solution is a plus.
Knowledge and experience of providing application support, experience in retail system is a plus.- Familiar with ITSM process, ITIL certificated is a plus.
Familiar with desktop setup and domain maintenance.
- Detail oriented, service minded, patient and good interpersonal skills.
Able to work with structure and plans.- Trouble shooting skills and fast learning is a MUST.
Good command of written and spoken English (Mandarin and Cantonese is a plus).
