Key Responsibilities:- Recruitment and Onboarding:
Assist in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.- Coordinate new employee onboarding, including conducting orientation sessions and facilitating training programs.
Employee Relations:- Address employee relations issues promptly and effectively, ensuring fair and consistent application of resort policies and procedures.
Provide guidance and support to department managers on employee relations matters.Training and Development:
Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop training programs.
- Conduct training sessions on various topics, including resort policies, customer service, and leadership development.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely completion and providing feedback to employees and managers.
Help implement performance improvement plans as needed.
- Compliance and Policy Implementation:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.- Assist in updating and implementing HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and maintain legal compliance.
Employee Engagement and Wellness:- Support employee engagement initiatives, including organizing events and activities to promote team building and morale.
Coordinate wellness programs and initiatives to promote employee health and well-being.
Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.- 3+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in the hospitality or resort industry.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
SHRM certification (preferred).
