Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
Assist in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding, including conducting orientation sessions and facilitating training programs.
Employee Relations:
  • Address employee relations issues promptly and effectively, ensuring fair and consistent application of resort policies and procedures.
Provide guidance and support to department managers on employee relations matters.
Training and Development: Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop training programs.
  • Conduct training sessions on various topics, including resort policies, customer service, and leadership development.
Performance Management:
  • Assist in the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely completion and providing feedback to employees and managers.
Help implement performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Compliance and Policy Implementation:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in updating and implementing HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and maintain legal compliance.
Employee Engagement and Wellness:
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, including organizing events and activities to promote team building and morale.
Coordinate wellness programs and initiatives to promote employee health and well-being.
  • Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in the hospitality or resort industry.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
SHRM certification (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,
  • 00 - RM7,000.00 per month
