Summary:
The Total Rewards Manager is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing compensation programs and benefits for Bumi Armada Group of Companies.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing, planning and implementing compensation and benefits programs, policies and procedures
- Responsible to ensure all pay related transaction are within the approved budget allocation by Finance
- Lead compensation cost elements, during the Group's quarterly forecast as well as the projected cost during the Annual Budget Cycle for the Group.
- Manage responsibilities in relation to group wide rewards philosophy that covers all aspects of Rewards (base salary, benefits Short-Term Incentive, STI & Long-Term Incentive, LTI) for all related companies.
- Work closely with HR business partners and other stakeholders to ensure that total rewards programs are integrated into broader HR and business strategies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the total rewards programs and make recommendations for improvements.
- Analyse and evaluate external market data as well as internal data about the organisation's current employee population and future human resource needs in order to develop salary budgets and forecasts that are consistent with the organisation's reward strategy.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contract with external parties(e.g., insurance carriers, actuaries, benefit providers) to ensure the organisation receives satisfactory standards of service.
- Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of compensation and benefits professionals
- Actively supports retention management actions, such as compensation strategy
- Uses various methods and techniques and make data-based decisions on direct financial, indirect financial and nonfinancial compensations
- Participates in salary and labour market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits
- Harmonize Grading structures and ensure continue applied standard evaluations
- Continuously upgrade knowledge and keep abreast with business requirement for pay, rewards, and performance related best practices and trend by attending related learning courses and business-related conferences, programs, or certifications.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess minimum a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management/Business Administration or related qualification.
- Certified In HR/Rewards practices would be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years related working experience with proven stakeholder management.
- Demonstrates the desire, confidence, and ability to develop relationships with different groups of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of best practice in related industries and in specific markets.
- Possess industry related knowledge of Pay, Rewards, and employee engagement trends and best practices.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations as they apply to base compensation and incentive compensation programs, company policies, and operations.
- Knowledge of managing pay and rewards system including related compensation & benefits packages, system, and processes.
- Hand-on extensive experience in Rewards and Compensation projects from design to implementation.
