Job Responsibility- Assist in coordination and evaluation of all the organizations Finance and Accounting functions include system controls and standards used by the Group.
Ensures timely provision of Group financial and statistical reports for management.- Ensuring that all accounting functions are accurately and effectively fulfilled.
Manage treasury function, cash-flow forecast planning, financing strategies and advising on long/short term investment/capex.
- Working with all subsidiary heads to prepare budgets, forecasts and other financial plans.
Working with all Subsidiary heads to ensure that their individual budgets are managed for the most effective and efficient use of financial resources.- Liaison with the Subsidiaries to ensure that there is prudent financial management; that they maintain necessary facilities with the banks and those facilities are competitively priced.
Liaison with external auditors to ensure that audits are properly planned, carried out and that financial reports are prepared within set timelines.
- Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
Manage and advise on Tax planning and lead on all tax-related matters including provision and compliance process and review of tax returns and risks.- Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls, process management and improvement, policy and procedures for the group.
To carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Director.
Candidate must possess at least Bachelors Degree /Professional Qualification in Finance/Accountancy (Preferable members of ACCA.CIMA or MACPA and MIA)
- At least with 5 years related experience.
Ability to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin. Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skill,
- Able to work independently to maintain high standards and accuracy.
