• Job Summary: The Assistant Engineering Manager - Mechanical will support the Engineering Manager in overseeing the mechanical engineering team and managing projects from conception to completion. This role involves technical oversight, team leadership, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership and Management:

Supervise and mentor mechanical engineering team members.

• Conduct performance reviews and develop growth plans for team members.

Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

• Project Management:

Assist in the development of project plans, including timelines and budgets.

• Assign tasks based on team members skills and project needs.

Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.

• Technical Oversight:

Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.

• Ensure all engineering work adheres to industry standards and best practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems during project execution.

• Communication and Coordination:

Act as a liaison between the engineering team and other departments, stakeholders, and clients.

• Prepare and present project updates and technical documentation to senior management and stakeholders.

Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and with other departments.

• Strategic Planning and Development:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation.
