Summary
You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations. The Assistant Engineer assist in overseeing the maintenance and repair of the hotel's facilities and equipment. The Assistant Engineer is responsible of supervising the team, coordinating maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
Qualifications
- Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open for Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.
- Ideally with a university degree/diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management.
- Work experience as Assistant Engineer or Team Leader - Engineering in the hotel industry is preferred.
- Technical knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration systems, fire main systems, sprinklers, water/waste treatment or hydraulics with be an advantage.
- Comprehensive knowledge in preventive maintenance programme and special projects will be valuable.
- Good interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.
