JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Assistant Creative and Content Specialist Manager for Astro Media Solutions will be joining a high-performing and collaborative team that works hard and fast to grow and maintain strong relationships with direct clients and media agencies. As an integral part of the Media Sales team, this role will be primarily responsible for the following:

Creative Solutions

  • Strategize and conceptualize creative and media solutions for advertisers using Astro's touchpoints.
  • Identify all related costs for proposed solutions, including production, talent fees, and third-party expenses.
  • Collaborate with Sales personnel to present, sell, and customize proposals to fit clients brand and business needs.
  • Support Client Solutions by participating in the execution of creative campaigns.
  • Customized Solution: Evaluate clients briefs, develop solutions, manage sales, oversee creative executions, and implement client retention strategies.
  • Proactive Initiatives: Develop new avenues for monetization based on emerging content trends, optimization of existing assets, and strategic partnerships
  • Marketing Support: Devise and implement strategic marketing initiatives for events such as UPFRONT, Content & Brand Day, Roadshows, among others.
  • Case Studies and Awards: Select standout campaigns to develop into case studies and prepare submissions for awards to showcase AMS's expertise in delivering innovative marketing solutions.

Content Specialist

  • The Content Specialist team plays a pivotal role in aggressively marketing content proposals by serving as the custodian of the Content Attack Plan (CAP). This plan is designed to list key targets and provide comprehensive visibility on the progress and status of content proposals. By maintaining and updating the CAP, the team ensures that all content proposals are tracked effectively, allowing for strategic adjustments and optimal marketing efforts.
  • In close collaboration with the content team, the Content Specialist unit identifies and develops integration opportunities that align with client objectives and viewer interests. They work hand-in-hand with Marketing Services (or Product Marketing) to create detailed costing packages for these proposed integrations.
  • Content Proposals: Collaborating with content team to ensure the readiness of content proposals in a timely manner (three months before shooting) to give the sales team enough time to approach potential clients.
  • Integration Opportunities: Propose content integration opportunities that balance viewer interests with impactful advertising.
  • Collaborate with channel and production teams to provide creative recommendations based on brand and communication strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to guidelines among producers and channels to maintain the quality and consistency of integrations.
  • Sponsorship Packages: Work with Marketing Services to develop consistent investment packages across different IPs and vernaculars.
  • Content Attack Plan (CAP) Management: Act as the custodian of the CAP.
  • Collaborate with channel, production, and sales teams to set content monetization targets, identify potential clients/brands, and reflect them on the CAP for sales action.
  • Qualitative Input on Content-Led Campaigns: Solicit qualitative input from different channels and production teams on executed content campaigns.
  • Provide recommendations for improvement based on gathered feedback.

Managerial Responsibilities (If require):

  • Team Management:Mentor and manage teammate by providing guidance, support, and mentorship to help them achieve their individual and team goals.
  • Motivation and Engagement: Support the Lead in fostering a positive and motivating work environment, encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and a strong sense of ownership among team members.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree/Diploma holders in Business/Advertising/Commerce/Communications or in anyrelevant field
  • Preferably 6 years working experience in media and advertising industry.
  • Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or other languages is an addedadvantage.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
  • Strong team player
  • Creative minds and results-oriented
  • Able to organize resources, present reports, and coordinate project work
  • PC literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel
