Job Description for Accounts Assistant
Position Overview
We are looking for a hard-working, experienced Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper to perform a variety of financial tasks. These include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements. You will run accounting software programs to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements. A successful Accounts Assistant will ensure that the company's daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- 1) Timely preparing cheques / online payments.
- 2) Timely issuing of official receipts and arrange for bank in.
- 3) Daily record and monitor cash and bank balance.
- 4) Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation.
- 5) Processing data entry into our accounting system.
- 6) Performing other office tasks, such as filing, photocopying and updating records.
- 7) Performing other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities that may be needed or assigned by supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
