Responsible for:
- (i) The preparation of management and statutory reports of the group, for external and internal financial reporting. This includes ensuring the effectiveness of internal financial controls to enable the preparation of such reports in a timely manner while ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the financial information thereof.
(ii) Managing the Accounts Payable (AP) and Receivable (AR) processes to ensure all AP and AR activities of the Group such as invoice processing and payments, billing and collections are undertaken efficiently.- (iii) Fixed Asset Management of the Group including development/maintenance of:
a) Fixed asset depreciation, acquisition/capitalization, disposal, transfer, write-off policies; and
- b) Fixed asset recording and reporting.
Job requirements:
- Degree and/or Professional Accounting Qualification in Finance or Accounting such as ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, CIMA.
Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in commercial and/or audit sectors- Knowledge of International and Malaysian Accounting Standards and Guidelines as well as Malaysian Companies Act.
Knowledge and hands-on experience as user of ERP/Accounting system.
