What Youll Do
Effectively use instructions and schematics, hand tools, equipment, and fixtures to assemble and install parts/hardware for WFE.
Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to changing priorities, including rework requirements to maintain workflow and production schedules.
Ensure correct part delivery and perform visual inspection of components before installation.
Contribute to audits by conducting visual inspections, verifying checklists, and performing leak checks as needed.
Cross-train in multiple work centers (e.g., Final Assembly, Sub Assembly, Feeder Bay, Preship, NPI).
Train other assemblers on specific job functions and role modeling continuous improvement behaviors.
Identify and document Non-Conformance Items (NCIs), escalating to engineering as needed.
Support a safe work environment by following safe work practices, adhering to safety guidelines, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and following Lockout Tagout (LOTO) policies and procedures.
Provide timely clear communication to stakeholders including production status, tasks completed, signoffs, detailed descriptions, continuous improvement ideas, and shift pass downs.
Who Were Looking For
2-4 years of mechanical or related assembly experience.
Technical Certificate, or Diploma in Engineering or related field.
Effective communication skills, written and verbal, in English.
Able to work 12-hour shifts in fast paced and time-sensitive environment.
Proficiency in computer-based data systems, applications, and Microsoft Office software.
Frequently position oneself (e.g., bend, stoop, reach, walk, sit, twist, squat, kneel, climb, stand) to perform job tasks including: moving parts and equipment weighing up to 35 pounds; operating various hand tools, equipment, and fixtures.
Distinguish various wires by color, size, thickness, markings, etc.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex youll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex youll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
