Application Programming (.Net) Programmer

Our client is a Manufacturing Shared Services Industry in is seeking a skilled Sr. Application Developer or Programmer to support critical business applications within the enterprise sector, specifically in manufacturing environments. This is an Individual Contributor role focused on developing, implementing, and maintaining technical systems that enhance business performance. The ideal candidate will work closely with business analysts, senior developers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions using cutting-edge technologies, including Microsoft .NET and Azure.

This role is a Remote / Night Shift - Permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business analysts, senior developers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Utilize Agile, Waterfall, or similar development methodologies throughout the application lifecycle.

Perform systems analysis, design, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of complex applications with minimal supervision.

Ensure all systems comply with departmental standards, controls, and audit requirements, and that thorough testing is completed before production deployment.

Redevelop applications, aligning with Azure development standards, while integrating a deep understanding of business processes.

Provide ongoing technical support, training, and project documentation, including technical specifications and infrastructure requirements.

Technical Tasks:

Develop full-stack solutions encompassing database management, business logic, and front-end UI.

Utilize Azure development platforms, with a focus on in-app services.

Modernize legacy applications to align with current technologies and business processes.

Develop REST services and APIs for system integration and data transformation.

Stay updated on industry trends, recommend and implement new technologies, and apply

best practices in design, development, and production.

Required Qualifications

Must be able to work US hours, night shift in Malaysia (9 PM to 5 AM), Monday to Friday.

Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent.

At least 3 years of professional programming experience in Microsoft .NET technologies.

Experience in web development, database management (Oracle/SQL Server), UI design, and API programming.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming methodologies.

Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively engage business users and collaborate with teams across regions, including India.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and the ability to support them with IT solutions.

Strong interpersonal, project management, and problem-solving skills.

(Preferred Qualifications)

Experience in programming with .NET and SQL or PL/SQL.

Experience working in an Agile environment.

Proven ability to deliver value-added solutions in business and manufacturing settings.
