Job Description

Job Responsibility

Service Advisor

  • Attend and assist customer on repair or insurance claims.
  • Obtain the approval from customer for any additional job.
  • Prepare estimate for cost of repair, expected time job for insurance claims/repairs.
  • Update customers for any delays on works.
  • Follow-up on work progress and inform customer accordingly.
  • Inspect and note the condition of the vehicle before delivery.
  • Knowledge of dealing with complaints.



Parts Advisor

  • Initiate and process purchase orders for the acquisition of spare parts.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts.
  • Verify received parts against purchase orders to maintain accuracy.
  • Execute daily spare parts activities, including issuing and supplying parts to the workshop.
  • Oversee the proper receiving, binning, and organization of parts in the warehouse.
  • Conduct regular housekeeping activities to maintain a well-organized and efficient parts storage system.
  • Ensure all parts catalogues are regularly updated to reflect the latest inventory.
  • Inform customers in advance of any price changes and update the system accordingly.
  • Monitor and manage back orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Proactively follow up with suppliers and communicate expected delivery times to customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the spare parts store room.
  • Implement and uphold 5S principles to ensure an organized and efficient workspace.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment in the spare parts department.



Claim Advisor

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by your superior.
  • Collect payments from customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor and follow up on spare parts back orders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Promote service and part sales, actively participating in service promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Work independently to prepare repair cost estimates, follow up on work progress, and provide updates to customers.
  • Handle customer complaints with efficiency, aiming for high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Attend to daily service needs and walk-in inquiries, ensuring the highest level of response and attention.

Job Requirements

  • Possess Automotive / Mechanical qualification with SPM/MLVK/Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in related field & preferably from automotive industry
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to address customer concerns effectively
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in both Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
