You will ensure the effectiveness and integrity of country Payroll & Time and Attendance (TAA) in compliance with PPG company policies, and local statutory requirements. You will lead the country payroll team and act as an expert of payroll & TAA local requirements, as a trusted partner in providing guidance and consultation to people leaders and employees in completing the payroll & TAA processes and be a reliable collaborator that empowers HRBPs, COEs and PPSC with country specific local Payroll & TAA processes, benefits, onboarding, and training. You will report directly to Payroll & TAA Leader APAC.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure payroll is processed in an accurate and compliant in-country and PPG requirements.
Primary contact for handling and resolving payroll production and payroll related concerns.
Daily operations supervision and development of payroll staff.
Improve stakeholder experience by improving processes linked to Payroll & TAA administration.
Stay current with payroll and tax law for the countries that are managed and any payroll issues.
Maintain audit ready controls for all processes across my team/organization.
Responsible for all internal and external payroll & TAA related audits (e.g., SOX audits, labor and government audits).
Ensure existence of all SOPs & DTPs for main payroll processes and review on regular basis.
Oversee ServiceNow cases to ensure accurate completion within the time given.
Annual and periodic reviews and employee feedback sessions.
Communicate updates, systems and business changes to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Possessed minimum bachelor's degree in business administration or relevant background.
Minimum 5+ years experience of local Payroll & TAA with minimum 1-3 years experience of people management.
Familiarity with Payroll & TAA legislation and knowledge of Payroll & TAA processing with total accuracy.
Proficiently dissect intricate data sets to identify gaps, inconsistency, and errors.
Experience working in a similar service environment and managing projects with successful results.
Experience using Quality tools to ensure functionality of payroll processes.
Experience working with stakeholders in different countries and locations.
Portray high level of integrity and unwavering confidentiality protocols.
