Purpose of Role:
We are looking for an Accounts Executive to join our team to manage the relation between the internal & external clients and the company for which they are working. The account executives directly report to the finance manager and assist in cashflow planning and payables.

Principal/Key Responsibilities:
Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analysing invoice/expense reports recording entries.
Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling and preparing cheques, resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation insuring credit note is received for outstanding memos, issuing stop-payments.
Pays employess by receiving and verifying claims forms and request for advances, preparing cheques.
Maintains historical records by microfilming and filling documents.
Disburses petty cash by recording entry, verifying documentation.
Prepare relevant reports required by management and holding company which include monthly utilities statistics, repair and maintenance cost, school activity costing, etc.
Perform on timely basis the payment counter, DN, CN, and Vendor reconciliation, etc to ensure that they are supported by valid documents for processing.
Perform on timely basis the Bank reconciliation, journal vouchers etc to ensure that they are supported by valid documents for processing.
Process the application of credit facilities involving new suppliers.
Track and follow up with the account receivable section with regards to reimbursement of CCA claims and field trips / excursion payment, ensuring all collections are accounted for before releasing of payments.
To submit withholding tax on time by sorting out all the relevant document to submit IRB (Form 37A, invoice and payment remittance advice).
Support in monthly cashflow planning ensuring sufficient cash to meet monthly commitments.
Assist in the companys audits and taxation matters to ensure the full compliance to reporting deadlines, accounting standards and tax laws, which includes the preparation of relevant schedules to be provided to the auditors and tac agent to ensure their reliability.
Support the Management to resolve and trouble shoot on daily financial matters.
At all times adhere to holding companys and local managements polities, standard operating procedures, accounting treatment, accounting systems, internal controls system and reporting requirement.
To perform and other jobs delegated by your supervisor and/ or management from time to time.
Skills, Qualification and Experience:
Qualification: Graduate Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Accounts/Finance or any related field.
Previous related experience in an Accounts/Finance role, preferably in an educational setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational abilities and a customer-oriented approach.
Familiar with Microsoft Office and is IT competent.
Preferably English, Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu speaker with the ability to read and write both languages.
Qualities: Team player, empathy, respect for diversity, commitment to continuous learning, and a strong focus on child safety and wellbeing.
Conflict Resolution: Ability to handle and resolve conflicts in a professional and respectful manner.
Multitasking: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
