Job Responsibility
- Handle full set of accounts
- Prepare and recommend policies and procedures to maintain accounting standards according to Financial Reporting Standards
- Responsible for closing and preparation of monthly financial reports, including bank reconciliation, balance sheet, PnL statement, and other reports
- Update client on all relevant submissions before the due date such as audit, tax submission, SST submission, &, etc
- Familiar with and handling tax-related matters for personal and company expenses including but not limited to understanding which travel expenses are tax-deductible, tax rules for entertainment expenses incurred for business purposes, such as client meals, event tickets, or team-building activities, understanding the tax deductibility of meals and entertainment expenses incurred while conducting business meetings or entertaining clients.

- General Accounts Admin tasks.
- reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments to external partners, and maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts.
- Organizing a filing system for important and confidential company documents
- Preparing invoices, and credit and debit notes.
- Check on staff expense claims.
- Manage customer statement of account
- Update and data entry into finance and accounting systems
- Generate payment vouchers, payment schedules & uploading for approval
- Follow up on debtor aging & collection
- Answer any queries on account transactions asked/requested by clients and relevant government bodies
Job Requirements
- Language: Mandarin, English
- Qualification: Diploma or higher (tertiary) in finance/accounting
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Basic math skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A solid understanding of financial processes such as bookkeeping.
- Experience with Autocount / SQL software is an advantage.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience.
