Accounts Executive - GL/AP/AR

Big Bad Wolf Books [BBW BOOKS], launched in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2009, is a global reading advocacy initiative and the brainchild of BookXcess founders, Andrew Yap and Jacqueline Ng. The primary mission is to cultivate reading habits, increase English literacy worldwide, and make books more affordable and accessible to everyone.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Shah Alam for an Accounts Executive specializing in full set of accounts. The Accounts Executive will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks related to GL, AP, and AR, including recording financial transactions, managing invoices, processing payments, and reconciling accounts. They will also assist in financial reporting and analysis, as well as provide support in budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

Minimum Degree in Accounting/Diploma in Accounting or relevant qualification;

Good interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with team and business partners throughout the organization;

Flexible, meticulous, organized, and able to work under time constraints and deadlines:

At least 2 years of working experience in the related field;

Able to work independently under minimum supervision;

Proficient in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

Experience in SQL and ERP system is an added advantage;

Experience in handling reporting in retail industry will be an added advantage

Must possess own transport and be willing to commute to our office in Section 33, Shah Alam.
