Job Summary
Your primary responsibility will be maintaining financial accuracy through diligent reconciliation of various accounts. Perform accounting functions specifically in the areas of account balancing, ledger reconciliation, including accruals and adjustments, in the accounting system.
You will also support the day-to-day execution of general ledger to prepare financial reports and work closely with various teams to ensure compliance of accounting standards across all reports.

What you'll do:
Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and customer accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Accurately apply cash receipts to customer accounts, ensuring timely and correct application of payments
Support in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
Reconcile financial data and perform monthly variance analysis, communicating key findings to management team
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and requirements in all financial statements and reports

Degree in Accounting with minimum 3 years work experience in relevant field
Proven experience in accounting or related field
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Experience with creating financial statements will be an advantage
Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot numerical errors
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is required
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with various departments
Proficiency in using accounting software, autocount and Microsoft Office are required
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
