Position Summary: - The accountant is a key role in the finance department responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and preparing financial reports. The accountant ensures compliance with accounting principles and regulations, supports financial analysis and budgeting, and contributes to the overall financial of the organization.
- Financial Recordkeeping and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, journals, and subsidiary ledgers.- Prepare and analyse financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Prepare and submit timely financial reports to management.
- 2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process and review invoices and expenses reports.
- Verify and reconcile client invoices with purchase orders and contracts.
Prepare and issue invoices to clients.- Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection and resolving payment discrepancies.
- 3. Financial Analysis and Budgeting:
Assist in conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend analysis.- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
Monitoring Profit and Loss company.
- 4. Collaboration and Communication:
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, providing financial expertise and support.
- Address inquiries related to financial transactions, reports, and processes.
Participate in financial meetings and contribute to discussions and decision-making
- Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping and reporting.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
