Job Description

Job Responsibility

Your Role And Responsibilities

Oversee and review the general ledger to ensure accurate entries and compliance with company policies, including the preparation of journal entries and accruals.

Manage statutory financial reporting, budgeting, financial forecasting, and corporate tax compliance for the company.

Lead and develop the finance team, driving strategic initiatives, improving financial reporting, and ensuring effective budgetary control.

Monitor financial performance against budget, including project costing, and take corrective actions as needed.

Ensure accurate and timely bank/merchant reconciliations, and promptly address discrepancies.

Liaise with Sales and Purchase department to verify approvals and process invoices for payment.

Liaise with external partners such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, and legal advisors on financial matters.

Ensure timely completion of tasks and meet deadlines by understanding and adhering to internal processes and system requirements.

Manage payroll for employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing, along with compliance to statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, PCB) and submission to relevant authorities.

Job Requirements

Working Hours : 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Monday - Friday)

Location : Bukit Minyak

Job Overview : Account Manager will take on a senior role focused on overseeing financial operations. This position involves managing the general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, leadership abilities, and experience in handling financial tasks efficiently and support the team in meeting organizational goals. Qualification:-

Education : Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) are a plus.

Experience : at least 5 years of direct working experience in related field.

Technical skills : full set accounting, experience in (EMAS/Account software) is a plus and Microsoft Excel.

Soft skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, work independently, well team player.

Language and Proficiency: Good command of written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
