Role Summary:
An Accounting Manager oversees and manages an organization's financial records and accounting processes. Key responsibilities typically include:
- Financial Reporting: Preparing accurate financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Compliance
: Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, laws, and regulations.Team Management
: Supervising and mentoring accounting staff, including assigning tasks and reviewing work.Account Reconciliation: Reviewing and reconciling general ledger accounts.
- Internal Controls: Implementing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy.
Audit Coordination
: Coordinating with external auditors during financial audits.Process Improvement
