Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting and Taxation Specialist with expertise in e-invoicing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and taxation, with a keen interest in continuous learning and professional growth. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and filing requirements.
Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns.- Implement and manage e-invoicing processes and systems.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax regulations.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounting and tax processes.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, MIA) is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and taxation.- Proficiency in e-invoicing systems and software.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
