We are growing and we're looking for talents to come on board our Group Finance team as an Accountant. This is a fully remote position available to candidates in either Malaysia or The Philippines.
Mission
Ensure the accurate and timely recording, reporting, and analysis of financial transactions while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Strive to provide insightful financial information that supports decision-making, enhances operational efficiency and contributes to the organization's financial health and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Perform general accounting function which includes but are not limited to the following: Bank Reconciliation, Accounts Payable, Accrual Accounting, Variance Analysis, Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss reconciliation
Analyze monthly campaign performance at the GP level and perform true-up/down on both the revenue and cost side
Support the revenue and accounts receivable function including raising and approving invoices, chasing payments, accrual recording and reversal posting
Provide a monthly update and analysis of the subsidiary ledger on actual invoices issued based on the campaign period to support the analysis and adjustment of accrued cost
Perform the monthly and annual financial close tasks within the internal timeline
Preparation of audit schedules and requests including liaising with auditors and external stakeholders
Provide assistance as required during project implementation and participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline and automate processes
Perform any other accounting/administration duties as assigned
Requirements
At least 4 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 2 years experience in full sets of accounts
CPA/CA is preferred but not required
Knowledge of Netsuite ERP is desirable
Proactive, team player, meticulous, with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to adhere to tight deadlines
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is a must
