Accountant

Job Description:
We are seeking an accountant who is well versed in property development accounting systems to join our team.

• Responsibilities:

Supervise and oversee whole account department's team.

• Handling and preparing full set accounts including Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Accounts, Balance Sheet and supporting schedules.

Preparing schedule for audit purpose.

• Provide timely reporting of all accounting and financial report.

Perform regular financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to provide insights on project performance;

• Monitor project costs, expenses, and cash flow to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

Prepare and submit financial reports to management, shareholders, and regulatory authorities as required.

• Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal policies.

Ensure proper monthly update of accounting records in UBS Accounting System and filing with completeness of supporting documents.

• Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, LCCI level 3 / diploma, or a related field.

• Proven experience working as an accountant in property development companies.

Strong knowledge of property development accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

• Proficiency in SAGE UBS accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.

Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with local tax laws and regulations pertaining to property development.
