Job Scope:
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the company's financial strategy and budget.
Monitor financial performance and provide insights for informed decision-making.- Collaborate with other departments to control costs and optimize financial resources.
- Accounting and Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the budgeting and forecast process.
Prepare and maintain financial budget reports.- Monitor budget performance and work with department heads to manage expenses.
- Tax and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Assist in preparing tax returns and identifying opportunities for tax optimization.
- Accounting Operations:
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial record-keeping.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Financial Analysis:
- Provide financial analysis and performance reports to the management team.
Identify cost-saving and revenue-generating opportunities.
- Internal Controls:
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Team Management:
- Supervise and lead a team of accountants and financial professionals.
Foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and professional development.
- Ad-hoc Duties:
- Any ad-hoc tasks which may be assigned as and when needed.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years proven experience in accounting and financial management roles.
- Strong financial and budgeting skills.
Proficiency in financial software and systems.- Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
Prior experience in the F&B sector will be an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
