Responsibilities:- Monitoring daily sales communications and answering any queries.
Assist in preparing statutory accounts.- Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
- Recording and filing cash transactions.
Invoice processing and filing.- Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve.
Bank reconciliation.
- Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers.
Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior internship experience in accounting or finance is a plus, but not required.
- Internship duration can be 3 - 6 months, but preferably 6 months.
August/September Intake
