We are seeking an experienced Finance and Accounting Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities, ensuring compliance with Malaysian financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.
Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
Develop and manage the annual budget, forecasts, and financial plans.- Oversee tax planning, filing, and compliance with corporate income tax, GST/SST, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.- Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
Ensure compliance with all local accounting standards, financial regulations, and company policies.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA/ACCA/MIA certification is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within Malaysia.
In-depth knowledge of Malaysian accounting principles, financial reporting standards (MFRS), and tax regulations.- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
