About The Role
A PR Executive working as part of a team to deliver and execute clients communications plans. The individual should be a capable communications and public relations professional able to handle a broad variety of tasks with increasing independence and sound judgment.
What You'll Do
- Project co-ordination & execution: Ensures flawless execution of client projects while keeping all relevant people updated on progress and changes. Plays a primary implementation role in client work.
- Timely documentation: Contact Reports of meetings and next steps, WIP status reports, and written documentation for project deliverables.
- Relationship management: Develops and maintains good working relationships with individuals within the Agency and Client organization and handle direct client contact
- Day-to-day account management: drafting written materials, coordinating events, managing projects performed with and by others and supervising more junior staff.
- Drafts sound, credible documents such as client memos, news releases, case studies, op-ed pieces, social content and briefs, etc
- Plan, prepare and execute events such as press conferences, media briefings, influencer briefings, media tours, etc.
- Preparing in-depth analyses using internal and external research capabilities.
- Managing media relations for all client matters
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree with at least 1 2 years of working experience.
- Good knowledge of media - publications, broadcasts, news wires/online, social media and have a keen eye for spotting trends or keeping abreast of latest happenings.
- Good communication skills (written & verbal) and people skills.
- Must possess basic public relations, writing, media, organizational, research and production.
- Be able to balance workload and tasks, communicating effectively with team members
- Can operate with a high degree of independence but knows when to rely on own judgment and when to seek advice of supervisor and other team members.
