Responsibilities:
- To handle month-end, quarterly and year-end closing of accounts(AP, AR, FA and GL) accurately and in a timely manner.
- To perform accounts reconciliation on a monthly basis.
- To prepare and issue invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and official receipts to the customers, suppliers, contractors and intercompany.
- Assist in the preparation of audit/tax schedules for year-end statutory audit and tax computation.
- To ensure all documents received are reviewed, validated and matched accordingly and maintain a proper filling of documents.
- To liaise with parties within Lien Dak's group of companies, external auditors, tax agents, etc. in relation to accounting, audit and tax-related matters.
- To ensure compliance with internal SOP and external regulatory requirements.
- Implement effective internal controls and maintain proper accounting records.
- To perform ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by the superior.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking/LCCI/ACCA or equivalent.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position, however, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experienced in the Construction industry would be an added advantage.
- A disciplined person, proactive, positive working attitude and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and able to meettight deadlines.
