Job Description

Job Description:
  • Prepare invoices, receipts and payments in a timely manner.
Ensure all accounting procedures and documentation like Requisition Form, Purchase Order, Invoices etc. are in proper order, completed and approved by the respective personnel before issuing payments.
  • Check and verify staff claim, clients payment process.
Ensure all payments applications are executed in a timely manner and accurately according to company policies & procedures and controls.
  • Prepare analysis or aging of account payable, make sure all due subcontractor and supplier payments are paid and knock off outstanding invoices accordingly.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
  • Reconcile discrepancies in financial records.
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
  • Compile data and generate periodic financial reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Handle full set of accounts including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules, and reconciling accounts.
Perform month-end closing activities such as accruals, adjustments, and financial statement preparation.
  • Maintain and update general ledger accounts.
Record financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Review and bank reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies.
Monitor cash flow and assist in forecasting cash needs.
  • Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
Assist auditors in conducting audits and provide necessary support.
  • Draft the audited accounts for auditor review.
Track and reconcile employee expenses.
  • Process expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
Provide support in due diligence processes and data analysis.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the accounting department as needed.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

  • Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) and Accounting Software (SQL and equivalent).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,
  • 00 - RM4,500.00 per month
