Job Responsibility
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Account Executive to manage the financial operations and transactions of the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Financial Record Management
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
- Prepare, verify, and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents.
- Record journal entries and update the general ledger to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Manage accounts payable (AP) by reviewing and processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Manage accounts receivable (AR) by preparing and issuing invoices to clients, monitoring payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure consistency.
Financial Reporting
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Generate and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Provide financial data and reports to management for decision-making purposes.
Budgeting And Forecasting
- Assist in preparing and managing company budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor expenditures and compare them to the budget to identify discrepancies.
- Assist in analyzing financial performance and providing recommendations for cost control and optimization.
Compliance And Auditing
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.
- Maintain accurate documentation to support financial audits and compliance requirements.
Liaison With Stakeholders
- Act as a point of contact between the finance department and other internal departments for financial-related matters.
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and other external stakeholders regarding payments, contracts, and financial inquiries.
Support Financial Projects
- Assist in various financial projects such as cost-saving initiatives, financial software implementations, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with the finance team on initiatives to enhance the efficiency of financial operations.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, and we welcome individuals who are eager to kickstart their careers with us
- Able to speak in English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia.
Skills
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

- Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping and reporting.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
