Responsible in ensuring the financial affairs are conducted on a sound basis and in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Company. Responsible for the general accounting function and maintenance of the general ledger system, preparation of monthly management account and report, and monitoring accounts payable and receivable, cashbook etc.
Minimum Job Expectations
Preparing and maintaining accurate accounting records.
Preparing MIS financial report for submission on monthly basis.
Preparing monthly and yearly financial statement such as Account Payable, Account Receivable, General Ledger, Financial Accounting, Balance Sheet and Cashbook.
Assist Accountant in preparing yearly budgeting reports and statements of account.
Preparing and maintaining proper accurate records on payment and outstanding creditors.
Ensuring timely processing on commissions (if any) to travel agents, ticketing agents etc. are accurate as per requirement.
Preparing and maintaining accurate records on payment due to relevant government agencies with regards to service tax, license etc.
Preparing and maintaining accurate records on collection with regards to ticket sales, service charge and other related charges.
Assist the Manager in quality improvement initiative in order to reduce cycle time.
Work closely with other department Managers to achieve cross-functional
teamwork in order to promote excellent coordination and cooperation across
all functions.
Any other job responsibilities as advised from time to time by the Management.
