Responsibilities:
- Lead and take ownership of client servicing and account management.
- Strategize and implement communication plans for the client including content calendar, long-term strategies, and corporate reputation.
- Develop and oversee communications assets for the target audience including press releases, social media content, and thought leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients in different segments such as healthcare and nutrition.
- Liaise with journalists to support media relations for the client.
About you:
- 8-12 years of experience in PR/communications (agency environment preferred).
- A healthcare communications background is highly preferred, or a passion to explore that space.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and prior experience in a client-focused role.
- Strong writing skills.
- Updated with ongoing trends and themes in healthcare communication practices.
- Professional work ethic and willingness to lead.
- Mature, driven and can mentor the team to success.
