Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries in compliance with Malaysian accounting standards.
Bank Reconciliation: Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions and identify discrepancies. Coordinate with banks to resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, including SST and annual tax declarations, ensuring compliance with Malaysian tax laws and regulations.
Payroll Administration: Process payroll for employees, including calculations of salaries, bonuses, and statutory deductions such as EPF, SOCSO, and PCB. Ensure timely disbursement of salaries and compliance with labor laws.
Accounts Receivable/Payable: Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoicing customers, monitoring outstanding payments, and processing supplier invoices. Follow up on overdue payments and reconcile discrepancies.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements on a periodic basis. Present financial performance analysis to management and provide insights for decision-making.
Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiate terms and pricing agreements, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements as needed.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support such as managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office supplies inventory. Assist in organizing company events and coordinating travel arrangements.
Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and providing necessary documentation and support during audit processes.
Job Requirements
Min. education requirement: LCCI
At least 1-2 years experience in related field.
Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
Familiar with local payroll processes and statutory requirements.
Positive working attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
Good personality and positive working attitudes, responsible, self-discipline and dedicate to work.
Good communication skills.
Able to start immediately or within short notice.
